A customer wished to increase his line capacity for outgoing but at the same time not increase the number of incoming calls.
The traditional route would have been to add more lines on a different number, but this would not have allowed them to display their main telephone number. The solution was to add SIP Trunk (IP – VoIP) lines via their internet which were set to display their main number.
This gave the capacity for up to six calls out while ensuring they could not receive more than four incoming calls.
